International Photography Festival – Paraty em Foco

This Festival has gained strength as one of the key international photographic events. Created in 2005 by Italian photographer Giancarlo Mecarelli, it attracts professionals from a number of countries to discuss photo-journalism, documental photography and technology changes. Exhibitions, workshops and classes are held in different venues in the town, attended by professional and amateur photographers in addition to the public, who participate in the ongoing activities during this four-day event always in the presence of key names in world photography.
