As a visual artist from a Paraty family, Patricia has lived with the town’s traditions and artistic essence since her childhood. A native of São Paulo, she moved to Paraty 13 years ago. At first, the artist opened a studio in which she produced pictures and creations with natural and recycled materials, designing extremely delicate items with striking colors.

As a student of fine arts, she enjoys painting with acrylics on canvas. Her pictures are not given names, which she prefers should be attributed by others. Foremost in her works are the colors, with the forms being consequently adapted.

A participant in Festival de Arte Contemporânea de Paraty with her works, Patricia is currently curator of several exhibitions in Casa de Cultura de Paraty, together with Lucio Cruz, Fernando Fernandes and Renata Rosa.

Her charming studio always has its doors open, and in addition to the beautiful canvasses on display, there are gracious artistic decorations to be seen. The industrious artist is always working, but receives guests, who happen to pass by, serenely and affably.
