Handcrafted toys that captivate children and grown-ups

This beautiful shop specializing in educational toys was opened just over two years ago and has attracted people of all ages, in particular grown-ups, who go back in time on viewing games and toys that remind them of their own childhoods.

Genuinely creative examples by the region’s artisans are displayed and sold, as well as items from other places, such as large dolls’ houses – some even have a swimming pool – and small stoves made of wood, among other interesting items.

Among the locally-made items by the region’s artists, there are classical toys such as tops, toys made from PET bottles, shuttlecocks, little wooden horses and carts, paper seagulls with assembly instructions, colored balloons fashioned from PET, educational games, fantasies… puppets, incredible rag dolls in different styles, paper mache masks, creative T-shirts, delightful cushions and mobiles, amusing caps for the young ones, tiaras with large ribbons for girls, and a number of other raptures that delight the young ones.

Everything is handcrafted in fabric, paper, recycled plastic and wood. The premises currently house creations by six of the region’s artists, who were previously active in the small fair by the riverside, and who now display their wares solely in the Querubim shop.

Even when not in the company of children, visitors will not fail in finding a souvenir to take to somebody or solely to exercise the affectionate memory evoked by this toy paradise.
